APEX 2025: UAE Developers Eye the $110.83 Trillion US Real Estate Market

The American Property Exhibition (APEX) 2025 is set to return to the Miami Convention Centre from September 15–17. Organized in partnership with the Dubai Land Department, the event will host over 3,000 professionals and more than 100 global real estate exhibitors — including top developers from the UAE.

As one of the most anticipated cross-border property events, APEX 2025 offers a gateway for UAE developers to access the $110.83 trillion US real estate market. With more than 54,000 properties purchased by foreigners in the past year, worth $42 billion, the appetite for international property continues to grow — and UAE companies are stepping in with ambition.

The US market remains one of the most stable and high-value destinations for property investment. Residential real estate alone is expected to reach a market volume of $110.83 trillion in 2025, according to Statista. With Florida, Texas, and California leading the way for foreign buyers, APEX provides a timely platform for UAE developers to showcase offerings and build long-term partnerships in North America.

Dubai-based groups like Damac, MAG Group, IGO, Mulk Holdings, Dar Global, and Sobha Realty are among those expanding into the US. These developers plan to build homes, offices, and data centers across the country, particularly in growth zones like Texas. Sobha Realty, for example, has announced 8 to 10 projects in the US real estate pipeline.

The exhibition is more than just a property showcase. It’s a strategic summit. Attendees will explore the Miami housing outlook, PropTech integration, youth innovation, smart cities, and sustainable investment strategies. Over 150 experts and speakers will take the stage, offering insights to developers and investors alike.

Strategically, the timing is ideal. The UAE has committed $1.4 trillion to be invested in the US economy over the next decade, targeting infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, AI, and housing. APEX stands as the bridge connecting this bold investment vision with tangible development and global partnerships.

Past successes of UAE developments in international markets serve as the foundation for this expansion. Within the UAE, booming areas like Al Furjan, Downtown, and Emaar South illustrate the capability of developers to build integrated, high-value communities. These same developers are now bringing their expertise to the US market.

The three-day exhibition will also include the APEX Gala Awards — recognizing excellence in innovation, sustainability, and leadership in global real estate. A strict judging panel will assess performance and impact, including officials from the Dubai Land Department.

APEX is officially backed by the Office of the Mayor of Miami Beach, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the City of Miami. These institutions will assist participants with administration and visa facilitation — helping international delegates access the event with greater ease.

More than 15 countries are confirmed to participate with national pavilions, including the UAE, Pakistan, Turkey, Ghana, Portugal, Morocco, Kenya, India, and Hong Kong. The diversity reflects APEX’s positioning as a global hub for real estate thought leadership and investment matchmaking.

Zahoor Ahmed, Vice-President of Strategy and Partnerships at MIE Events, said, “APEX is designed to be the premier global real estate platform in the United States. With the strong support of the Dubai Land Department and our strategic venue in Miami, we expect it to be a transformative event for all involved.”

APEX 2025 not only highlights the growing influence of UAE developers but also opens the door for American investors to engage in the UAE market. Americans already rank among the top ten foreign investors in UAE real estate — a number expected to rise with events like APEX strengthening bilateral ties.

As global property markets evolve, APEX 2025 stands at the intersection of opportunity, vision, and collaboration — offering developers and investors the tools to shape the future of real estate across borders.
